The Waiting Room Of Life

Few of us like to wait.

The waiting room of life. Waiting in traffic while you are in a hurry is hard. If only we will trust that the one who created not only each of us but also the universe has a perfect plan and his perfect timing for our lives we could keep our peace. We wait in traffic wait in line at the grocery store wait for a promotion wait for a relationship to turn around or wait for a prayer to be answered. The waiting room supporting people at all stages of life.

It makes people to miss the time of visitation. Waiting for the tests to reveal what is this illness ravaging my body waiting for the right employer to offer a position. Waiting rooms for most people its one of their least favorite places to be. The other day i was sitting in traffic and just started thinking about all the time we spend waiting in life.

The waiting rooms of life happen to us all and often without warning. Is the lord even listening. Life in the waiting room. Its also easy on the other extreme to sit miserable and stiff tense and on edge missing all the opportunities we have to be an encouragement to someone around us.

Twr provides an alternative approach to taking control of our own health and well being. Whether it be in a doctors office in a bank or at the airport it reflects a condition of wanting to be someplace else but not being able to get there at least for the moment. Debbie we all go through seasons of being in a waiting room experience. Settle in camp out get too comfortable and forget that there is a reason why were there.

We dont like to be put on hold and listen to instrumental music or stand in line waiting to be served. You wonder how people turn the sofa into bed so comfortably and snore away. But the waiting room is no bedroom. Sleeping is a state of total unconsciousness.

Stay awake alert and conscious for that call or signal that will terminate your waiting. Waiting for word back from a friend after a disagreement. In the waiting rooms of our lives its easy to get distracted. It is a virtual bridge across the information chasm that connects support services to the recipient instantly.

One day jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up nlt. Waiting for god to answer a prayer or act on our behalf is even harder. We want things now we want things to look like we envision them. Spiritually speaking believers spend their fair share of time in waiting rooms also.
